has hit the top of the charts with his critically acclaimed 'The Next Chapter' album holding the pole position on he Jamaica Music Countdown charts for the second consecutive week.
"It's a great feeling to have a #1 album on the reggae charts, because a lot of effort, production values and love went into making this album. This represents a major chunk of my life, and to see how the people are responding to it has been very gratifying," Delly Ranx said.
Music insiders believe that Delly Ranx is the leading candidate for the 'Comeback Artiste of the Year' title with his resurgence as a serious force to reckon with in reggae music. The reggae artiste's The Next Chapter title track jumped two places to #9 this week on the HYPE TV Top 20 charts.
Since its release three months ago, the single has fast become a favourite of reggae fans on various social media, and now it is reaping commercial success with the title track popping up on ethnic charts in the US, Japan, France and Canada. The single is also bubbling on the Stampede Street Charts.
Outstanding response
"The response has been outstanding so far. The title track, Next Chapter, is climbing charts on Hype TV in Jamaica and RadioDubPlate in Toronto. The album is doing well on local charts as well, and selling well in Europe and California, people are responding to the reggae vibe, The Next Chapter has definitely begun," he said.
Last week, Delly Ranx came to Jamaica to shoot the video for The Next Chapter with highly rated video production outfit, Terminal 4 Media. The video was shot at Advidco's offices on Lindsay Crescent, with additional scenes in the Corporate Area.

The humble yet talented artiste, has been sweating up a storm in the studio, empyting his clip of songs that continue to create a buzz on the airwaves.With his latest tracks, "Jah Never Fail Me" and "Gal A Wine Bad" the artiste has proven himself as a force to be reckoned with. With more hits under his belt, Currenci has set the mark high for others to try and match.
“I just want Jamaica to look out for my new single And music video, 'Gal A Wine Bad, 'which is on the illusion riddim and produced by Studio Vybz; also look out for the track: “Constant Spring on the Battlefield Riddim , produced by Bounty Killer’s nephew, Advance.” Currenci said.
However, the multi-talented artiste has been working endlessly on projects in the pipelines. “I have a video that is currently in the works for the hit single, Gal A Whine Bad, which is set to release soon.”
Currenci plans on staying relevant on the dancehall scene, with yet another new track entitle, Ravin Everyday on the upcoming Smear Bass Riddim, which is produced by Studio Vibes Entertainment.The song has an 'up-tempo' kind of party vibe, which fans will surely enjoy. However, it is said amongst respected media moguls that this is definitely one track sure to be another huge hit for the artiste, especially for party-goers.
When asked which artiste he would do a collaboration with, Currenci responded, “I would definitely work with Movado, Drake and Busta Rhymes, with Busta Rhymes he has a Jamaican heritage. Trust me I will keep bringing on the hits, I will never disappoint my fans.

Gallon I was born on the 17 november 1982 and has always housed a passion for music in his heart .he started writing and singing from a very tender age, but it was during his tenure at Edwin Allen and later Garvey Maceo High School that he began to shape his musical skills and showcase his talent to fellow students and the public audience while performing at school fete`s and barbecue`s.
While living in Clarendon his friends started to hand him a lot of encouragement to pursue a career in the music industry. after traveling and performing in Clarendon, Gallon I started to search for a stronger started point so he went to Kingston where there is a better opportunity to launch his career.
While in Kingston, he started to get familiar with the major players in the business whom he quickly learn a lot from. after gaining a little experience and knowledge of the business he started to get himself on various shows concerts and many more Gallon I music can relate to everyone in all corners of the earth.
He is consider by many as being a very creative and talented artiste with not only rhymes but rhymes with meaning. his music relates to real life situation which will surely connect with people in their daily walks of life.
